Sexting and Young People: The Parent's View has been published by the UKCCIS Evidence Group and is a summary of the key research findings from the NSPCC and FACTs International about sexting and young people, and the knowledge that parents have of this. The study aims to show how parents could be better supported to help their children understand the issues surrounding sexting.
Girls’ wellbeing explored: understanding pressures and resilience. Following its 2015 survey, Girl Guiding commissioned this qualitative research to hear more from girls themselves about their wellbeing and better understand, in their own words, the pressures they are facing.
Gender and children and young people’s emotional and mental health: manifestations and responses. A rapid review of the evidence This review explores the role of gender in children and young people’s emotional and mental health. It focuses on individuals’ coping strategies and help-seeking behaviours as well as the ways in which parents and carers, schools, and public services respond to children and young people’s behaviours and needs. The review is part of a project that aims to inform gender-responsive approaches to children and young people’s mental health.
